Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Skyline Montreal, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial/state and local laws.

 

Eligibility: Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to those who share or submit their “Trade show promotional strategies in attracting attention to a trade show booth” through social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Google+) promotional link provided by Skylinemontreal.com/pagename and who are 18 years of age and older as of the date of entry. The Contest is only open to legal residents of Canada (including Quebec) & U.S.A., and is void where prohibited by law.

 

The Contest must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided on Skyline Montreal’s website. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win the prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Skyline Montreal. You may enter multiple times by submitting a different strategy every time and you must fill in the information requested. You may not enter the same strategy by using multiple email addresses, identities or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Skyline Montreal.

Contest Deadline: Entries will be accepted online starting on [September 23, 2015] and will end [November 6, 2015]. All online entries must be received by [November 6, 2015] 11:59PM EST.

 

Method of Awarding Prize: The winner will have met the criteria of information required to submit at the time of entry, and will be selected by a private vote of all qualified entries.

 

Prize: Winners will receive the lasted released 32GB Apple T.V. 2015, retail value at $149 CND. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Skyline Montreal’s discretion.

 

The prizewinner will be selected on November 11, 2015 at 11:30AM EST.  

 

Winners will be notified via email to the email address participants entered to the Contest on Skylinemontreal.com/page within five (5) days following the winner selection. Skyline Montreal shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information

 

Once selected and notified the prizewinner must claim the prize within (15) days from the time the email award notification was sent. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The prize will be mailed via regular Canadian postal services (no rushed or priority shipping, or no signature upon delivery will be applied) to the winner within 30 days the prizewinner claiming the prize.

 

The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, provincial/state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.

 

Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Skyline Montreal to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law

 

A jury of (4) Skyline Montreal Exhibit Consultants will select the prizewinner and will be overseen by the President and Marketing Coordinator of Skyline Montreal to ensure rules and regulations are followed in a fair timely manner.  

 

Employees of Skyline Montreal and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

 

Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

 

Skill testing question will be a four part mathematical equation where the answer will be submitted on the prize claim release form that must be answered correctly in order to claim the prize.

 

Terms: Skyline Montreal reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest.

 

In such case, Skyline Montreal may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Skyline Montreal. Skyline Montreal reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.

 

Skyline Montreal has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Contest rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Skyline Montreal reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Rights Granted by you: By entering this content you understand that Skyline Montreal, anyone acting on behalf of Skyline Montreal, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Contest, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.

  1. The person for whom a publicity contest is carried on shall ensure that the advertising for the contest does not imply that any person:

 

(1)    has won a given prize;

 

(2)    may enter a contest for the purposes of receiving a prize or being able to win a prize, when in fact all participants receive a prize.

 

The person shall ensure that the advertising states the number of and describes the prizes offered in the contest and their respective value, that it mentions that only one prize is offered or that it specifies the smallest and largest value of the prizes.

 

The person shall also ensure that the advertising states how and where the public may obtain the text of the contest rules.

 

Where participation in a publicity contest requires the purchase of a good or service, the person shall ensure that the advertising states the nature of the skill-testing requirement that a winner must satisfy in order to claim his prize.
