New York Comic-Con
Every year ReedPOP puts on New York Comic-Con, the largest and most exciting popular culture convention on the East Coast. In 2016 alone, 185,000 fans attended, easily making it the highest attended pop-culture gathering in the country. Over 850 companies exhibit at the event and over 3,000 members of the press cover the event each year.
This event regularly ranks second in the country for top comic book conventions.
The event is not just limited to comic books, however. Fans of graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movie, and television can also be seen enjoying the various offerings of the convention. Panels and autograph sessions provide the opportunity for fans to meet some of their favorite creators and screening rooms let fans enjoy sneak peeks of their favorite shows and movies before they are released. New York National Boat Show
A tradition 110 years in the making, the New York City Boat Show is the premier boat show in the northeast United States. In 2016, more than 35,757 boating and fishing enthusiasts attended the event. Direct purchasing at the event is common. In fact, of the attendees in 2016, 57% either made or arranged to make a purchase while at the show.
The show features a wide array of watercraft from yachts and cruisers to canoes and kayaks and everything in between. The event is produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association whose member companies account for $39.5 billion dollars in sales each year and produce 80% of the boats, engines, trailers, accessories and gear used by boaters and anglers in the United States.

The New York Times Travel Show
This year the 14th Annual New York Times Travel Show will be taking place at the Javits Center. Over 29,000 traveling enthusiasts attended the event last year and that number is likely to rise in 2017. At this three-day event, consumers get to learn from over 250 travel industry experts that will speak. They are also provided the chance to view over 500 exhibitors from 150 different countries spread out over 16 pavilions. The Skyline New York office designs and produces an outstanding exhibition for the Turkish office of travel and tourism, which won the Best of Show Award in 2016.

American International Toy Fair
Thousands of global play professionals come to New York each year for the American International Toy Fair, hoping to learn about the freshest ideas and hottest trends in the industry. Together they form the largest youth entertainment marketplace in the Western Hemisphere. 415,000 square feet of exhibit space allow attendees to view thousands of the industry’s newest products.
This year over 1,100 exhibitors—including manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents— will be attending the event and showcase more than 150,000 toy and youth entertainment products.
The event is sponsored by the Toy Industry Association. TIA’s over 900 members make up for roughly 90% of the sales in the $25 billion toy industry.

ASIS New York City Security Conference and Expo
According to their website, “ASIS International is a global community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets – people, property, and/or information.”
Each year the NYC Security Conference and Expo promotes this mission by bringing together security and law enforcement professionals from the northeast United States together. In 2016 alone 2,500 professionals attended. Attendees come to view the latest technologies, systems, and services from top solution providers in the industry, and 84% of the attendees in 2016 were directly involved in purchasing decisions. Hundreds of Fortune 500 companies have buyers present at the event and over 100 exhibitors were present in 2016 to showcase their products.

GARP Annual Risk Management Conference
Each year the Global Association of Risk Professionals conference brings the world’s most influential risk management supervisors and regulators to Manhattan. International Vision Expo and Conference
In 2016, 16,405 professionals from the global eye care community came to the International Vision Expo and Conference East. Optometrists, opticians, frame buyers and other like-minded professionals network and learn about some of the most recent innovations that have been occurring in the industry.
In total, the event entails more than 320 hours of education for attendees. Additionally, the event has an exhibit space the size of five football fields to display products that feature the latest visionary designs, technology, and medical advances.

Medical Design and Manufacturing Conference and Expo East
This major conference for the medical manufacturing field is the largest and most comprehensive medical manufacturing event on the East Coast. In 2016, there were 10,508 attendees present to learn more about every aspect of the end to end medical device development process. This resulted in more than 46,000 buyer and supplier meetings over a three-day span.
Each year attendees hear speakers and exchange ideas related to design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing challenges. On the exhibit floor, there are seven expos with more than 900 suppliers displaying products that feature the latest groundbreaking medical technology.
