TOP 3 EXHIBIT TRENDS WE NOTICED
- The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic had everyone from every industry considering ways to keep clients, employees and vendors safe. This included safe working environments, personal protection equipment (PPE) and canceling travel (which, in turn, led to the postponement and cancelation of many trade shows and events throughout the world).
- Trade show design trends changed to accommodate new social distancing rules put in place by local and federal governments.
- For obvious safety reasons during the pandemic, exhibiting virtually was a popular option and gained a lot of traction. Online virtual events using web conferencing software (ex. Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.) surged in popularity, as did virtual exhibit design.
