Don’t Fall For These Common Myths Regarding Inflatable Exhibits
Inflatable exhibits are some of the newest and most innovative types of trade show displays to hit the industry in the last few years. Since these exhibits are so new, there are a lot of myths out surrounding them. Keep reading to learn about some of these common myths and just what makes them entirely untrue.
Inflatable Exhibits Are Fragile
The myth that inflatable exhibits are fragile is probably one of the biggest ones around. Although the frame is powered by air, it’s quite sturdy when inflated. It’s even possible to step on the frame without damaging it. Additionally, inflatable exhibits are meant to be used throughout an entire trade show, so you shouldn’t have to worry about the exhibit losing air. Leaks are rare, but if you do notice a slow leak it’s possible to return the exhibit back to Skyline for minor repairs to make sure that it’s fixed before you need to use it next.
Inflatable Exhibits Need A Constant Power Source
If you’ve ever seen a sky dancer at work outside a local business, you know why it’s thought this myth is true. Sky dancers and other types of outdoor displays meant to attract attention need a constant source of power so they will continue to wiggle and move and these blowers can be loud! When you use inflatable exhibits as a trade show display, you certainly don’t want the constant hum of a blower to distract your employees and customers. This is why you should look for inflatable exhibits that use an inflator, similar to an air pump that inflates an air mattress. These inflators can be quite loud, but you’ll only need it for about 10 minutes.
Inflatable Exhibits Are Hard To Install
Yet another myth is that inflatable exhibits are extremely hard to install. However, if you can plug in a power cord, you’ll be able to install inflatable exhibits. All you need to do is to plug in the connector to the inflatable exhibits and push the button to turn the inflator on. The inflator will automatically stop when the exhibit is fully inflated, so you don’t have to worry about damaging it by over-inflating.
The Graphics On Inflatable Exhibits Can’t Be Cleaned Or Changed
The last myth that needs to be debunked is that the graphics on the inflatable exhibits can’t be cleaned or changed out. If your graphic is dirty, first try to spot clean it. If this doesn’t work, it’s possible to dry clean or even toss it into a washer. If you choose to dry it in the dryer, just make sure that the temperature doesn’t go above 100 degrees. Additionally, if you decide that your exhibit needs a new graphic, you can easily have a new one created by contacting your design company.
